Associate Manager, S&OP

Pay rate: $33 - $38/hr (based on experience)
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 - 4:30 PM, 30 min unpaid lunch, 37.5 hours weekly
Occasional early morning or later evening to work with Global team- Hybrid schedule/ 3 days in office
Duration: 12 month-contract
Location: Ewing, NJ

The Global Markets Group (GMG) conducts business in over 150 countries and represents one of the fastest growing business units within the company. The Associate Manager, Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) will lend support to the Manager, Global S&OP in developing the global S&OP forecast management process for helping build profitable business around the world.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the Global S&OP Manager in the global S&OP process, including reporting and cross-functional alignment.
• Reports on global gap root cause analyses and risk reporting with our GMG Distributors, Account Managers, Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams with driven focus on forecast process, KPIs to measure progress through S&OP accuracy improvements.
• Partners cross functional Demand/Supply alignment cadence of meetings related to product forecasts and financial projections, inventory plans, product end of life management, new product planning, and acquisition integration.
• Continuously drive process improvement to increase the level of process maturity and influence it has in driving business decisions across the company. Take initiative on tasks— not just to check them off a list, but to get them done well by going the extra mile, thinking through complications, and taking on work before someone asks you to.
• Manage and optimize network inventory including analysis of excess- slow moving and obsolete inventory, Reports on inventory levels.
• Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen S&OP processes.

• BS Degree required, MBA preferred
• 5+ years of supply chain management, S&OP, forecasting, and/or inventory management experience
• Experience with Sales and Operational Planning, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain management, supply planning, or demand planning
• Will be working with manager of S&OP in a more global role, in the future.
• Needs qualitative people skills- will be working with a large group of people and it is essential they can get along with everyone

• Being a global role, ability to work flexible working hours when needed for morning and night meeting calls. We work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office.
• Must be a leader, self-motivated, assertive, and be able to work under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to multi-task.
• Must have excellent analytical, communication and written skills, as well as be detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI; Knowledge of SAP applications and JDA/ similar forecasting planning systems preferred.
• Deliver results in first-time situations by inspiring others and working to earn trust every day.
• Learn and apply new business processes, technology.
