General Repair Technician
Location: Allendale, NJ
Hours: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday-Friday
Pay-rate: $20.00-$23.00/hour (Depending on experience)

General Repair Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs needed such as repairing trim, installing doors, repairing fences, patch drywall cracks, painting, etc.
- Carry out carpentry work by fixing furniture.
- Schedule different phases of projects based on established deadlines and vendors.
- Confer with supervisors or other managers to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes to mitigate risk.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
- Provide support to Senior Project Manager by giving updates on project timelines as tasks are completed, and inform them of issues or concerns when appropriate.
General Repair Technician Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office
- Proven working experience in carpentry and general repair
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Must have own hand tools; Power and specialty tools will be supplied
- Complete computer/administrative work accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High observation and good time management skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize and execute daily tasks to meet deadlines
