Overview
Leading petroleum organization is seeking a Sample Management Technician to join their team! Previous experience managing samples in an industrial environment or analytical laboratory are encouraged to apply. Don't wait to be a part of groundbreaking work today!
Responsibilities
- Creating, preparing and delivering various sample sizes for evaluation and analysis
- Gathering components, additives and base stocks from inventory for use
- Maintaining chemical inventories physically and in a computer system
- Assisting in the creation of lubricant blends (100ml to 5gal) for testing, shipment, storage, etc.
- Weighing out components and mixing them following detailed procedures in a laboratory environment
Qualifications
- High School Degree
- 2-3 years of experience managing samples in an industrial setting, preferably in petrochemical industry, analytical laboratory role
- Previous experience measuring wet ingredients, scanning samples, preparing blends, working with inventory management system, etc.
- Forklift certification preferred
