Overview:
System One is looking to hire a Civil Superintendent for a utility scale solar and BESS site in Kern County, CA. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled superintendent with civil experience within the utility scale solar and renewable energy industry.
The Civil Superintendent will act as an authorized representative of the owners. The field observer will be assigned to observe and inspect construction activities of the project, and the construction methods and materials used therein. These activities would include the construction of the below bulleted items. Civil Superintendent will provide daily inspection reports for any specific task on a given day. The reports will be filed in accordance with Project Execution Plan and accessible by any and all interested entities. After approved by CM, the Civil Superintendent will issue written communication in the event there are any basic safety and health violations observed.

- Minimum of 5 years in the utility scale solar/renewable energy industry.
- Must have at least 5 years of civil experience.
- At least 3 years of construction management in civil, utility scale solar experience (required).
- OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
