Program Support Specialist experienced within Defense Intelligence or the IC. This role serves as the coordinating point of contact for the eTask management system supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), specifically the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC). Must be able to work in a high-operational tempo environment and able to work independently.

Primary Work Location: Bethesda, MD 


  • Understand operations of NMEC to ensure proper dissemination of assigned tasks to facilitate timely and accurate responses
  • Coordinate with Offices to ensure receipt of tasks and monitors and tracks progress of assigned tasks
  • Coordinate consolidation of input when tasks require multi-Office responses
  • Review input for proper format and completeness
  • Brief senior leadership on task status and coordinates review/approval process with senior leadership
  • Coordinate with external POCs for additional inputs or questions from tasked Office
  • Ensure submission of response in a timely and efficient manner
  • Update eTask system to open, assign, submit, and/or close tasks
  • Review, coordinate, and forward internal and external staff clearances
  • Prepare staff summary sheets, memorandum of agreements, and official memos
  • Work in the Defense Travel Systems (DTS) to assist government personnel
  • Schedule conference rooms and appointments; help manage senior leadership calendars
  • Coordinate office supply orders
  • Maintain internal files and records management
  • Provide and support all routine and non-routine first call (Tier 1) response/resolution on a number of different topics requiring knowledge of customer service principles and practices in human capital, training, travel, task management, and records management
  • As needed, manage the Newcomer Orientation Program and conduct a monthly six hour in-processing/newcomers brief for new S&T employees



  • At least five (5) years of experience
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; requires a current Counterintelligence polygraph or ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph upon hire
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite of applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Microsoft Access (database))
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Associates degree preferred
