Position for a Contracts Manager

- Main focus is to ensure that all Sourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain related contracts and contractual deliverables are processed on time and in accordance with the project/tender requirements.
- Ensure that the Sourcing / Procurement related contracts execution is followed properly as part of the assessment of the QCD performance of suppliers. 
- Supplier claim management and recovery where suppliers are in default.


- Implement the process of definition/update of specific requirements to be reflected to suppliers in line with the customer contracts.

- Establish the Sourcing contractual strategy (choice between subcontracting, purchase agreement, service agreement, purchase order, etc.) with the Cluster Sourcing Director (or equivalent) and Central Sourcing teams.

- Support the Cluster Sourcing Team and Central Sourcing Teams in the negotiation of sourcing related contracts on request.

- Support Legal Counsels to LOI and/or project specific agreements preparation (on request only and in relation with the Legal Counsel in charge)

-Communicate on contractualisation progress and give visibility on associated risks to the Project/Tender teams and North America Legal Counsel and Sourcing/Procurement Contract Manager.

Contract execution management:

- Follow-up and support the implementation of contract amendments.
- Ensure management of contract documents.
- Notify Suppliers and follow-up in case of failure of contractual obligation.
- Anticipate risks, propose counter-strategies and commercial solutions to Sourcing/Procurement teams to avoid Project degradation.
- Maintain records useful for claims substantiation. 

Claim Recovery:

- Identify claim topics, and manage each claim in accordance with the sourcing claim management process.
- Provide reporting on progress as and when required.




- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience as a buyer, purchasing manager, sourcing manager, procurement manager, supply chain manager or similar will be a plus
- Ideally experience working with contractual / legal documentation

- certifications like CPCM, CCCM, CFCM,  Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Certified Federal Contracts Manager, Certified Commercial Contracts Manager will be a big plus
