Title: Service Technician

Job Description:
•    Clean, repair, and maintain electrical/mechanical bulk dosing equipment that includes control panels, motors, augers, and bearings
•    Develop and track parts inventory, field equipment inventory, and equipment history
•    Maintain shop area and organize equipment inventory
•    Communicate directly with customers to provide technical support for job site equipment
•    Respond to corrective maintenance requests within an acceptable time frame and diagnose equipment issues
•    Travel to job sites to troubleshoot and repair field equipment as needed
•    Write procedures and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, tests, etc
•    Contributing team member of Plant Operations team. Participate in production operations as needed if available.
•    Assist Maintenance Specialist with activities at the plant as needed
•    Perform other work and special projects as required by the Plant Manager

Qualifications: 
•    Good verbal, written, and analytical skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
•    Ability to work directly with customers
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
•    Project Management experience desired.
•    Experience interpreting P&ID’s, maintenance manuals and diagrams
•    Self-motivated, highly organized, goal-oriented and driven towards continuous improvement
•    Experience with welding is preferred

Special Requirements/Competencies: 
Must have mechanical aptitude and must have demonstrated ability to work with hands and use various tools
•    Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be organized with good written and oral communication skills
•    Must have electrical aptitude. Experienced in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using devices such as multi-meters (ohmmeter, voltmeter), ammeters (clamp), and meggers. Capable of troubleshooting electrical circuits and components to locate shorts, faulty connections, defective parts and replace or repair to suite and ensure compatibility and safety of systems
•    Must have clean DMV record to operate company vehicle
•    Must be able to lift/pull at least 50 Lbs
