Vendor Support Specialist, eCommerce

 

Our Metrowest retail client is looking for a Vendor Support Specialist, eCommerce to join their team for a contract role.  In this role, you will be responsible for the first line support of vendor issues with client's drop ship platforms and deliver training of the platforms to all internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for vendors and guide vendors through the onboarding process
  • Manage the support phone lines, email queues, online chat and other defined vendor contact points
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of integration issues, QA downstream process, proficient in navigation of the systems and their UX
  • Determine the appropriate escalation path, delineating issues into escalations, bugs, feature enhancements
  • Executing the training of vendors as it relates to the drop ship platform and its operation
  • Provide support process improvements including training and documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant discipline
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in web services; experience writing training documents
  • Troubleshooting/analysis skills a must
  • MS Office and other productivity software suites
  • Business Analysis experience; knowledge of API EDI, Web technologies; supply chain knowledge and experience preferred
  • JIRA/Atlassian experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills; energetic team player; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
