Position Objective:

To create an immediate impact by delivering qualified candidates, creative recruiting strategies and relationship building approaches to our valued customers and employees within the IC/DoD.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs professional level duties to attract, screen, recruit, and select new employees.
  • Identify qualified Department of Defense and Intelligence Community professionals to support our customers missions through a high volume of sourcing, emails, calls and creativity with recruiting resources.
  • Interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organizations culture.
  • Conduct phone screens and in person interviews to ensure candidate qualifications meet position requirements and program requirements.
  • Build and maintain a proactive bench of candidates for regularly filled positions within the Business Unit and for upcoming proposals and contracts.
  • Generate qualified leads for potential business opportunities, document those leads and ensure they are passed on to BD team
  • Build relationships with potential candidates and generate referrals for other qualified professionals in their network.
  • Make a positive impact and represent the TPGS/GAP culture on every call
  • Create strong understanding of candidate situations to represent their needs to contracts and Program Management team.
  • Maintain communication with candidate during the interview and selection process to have pulse on level of engagement, interest and desire to move forward.
  • Attend career fairs, as needed

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Recruiting
  • Ability to work Mon-Fri from 8:30AM-5:30PM in Reston, VA office
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ex. Bullhorn, iCIMS, Monster, etc..)
  • Prior use of multiple job boards and resources for high volume sourcing
  • Experience in an outbound calling/recruiting environment

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with recruiting cleared candidates in the government contracting industry
  • Knowledge of clearance verification process and clearance crossovers
  • Ideally experienced in recruiting various skill sets (IT, Admin, HR, All-Source, Geospatial, etc…)
