Job Summary:

Electronic Technician reports directly to the Operations Manager, performs electronic repairs on MRI Coils.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

In addition to various tasks assigned by the supervisor the following are basic duties and responsibilities:

  • Repair MRI Coils to the component level
  • Ability to operate a variety of electronic test equipment, read schematics and solder
  • Ability to diagnose failures with limited documentation and customer information
  • Proactively prioritize activities within fast-paces work environment
  • Maintain workspace in an orderly and professional manner
  • Log accurate records of work performed
  • Comfortable with technical information to perform job
  • Effectively convey problems, opportunities and results
  • Assist in hands-on training
  • Supports safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment

Credentials and Experience:

  • Associates Degree required Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent Military Electronics training
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices used in medical field
  • Experience in an environment governed by ISO 9001& 13485
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident Alien

Special Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends as required.

Working Relationship/Environment Exposure

  • Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, where exposure

to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited

  • Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal repair environment
  • No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties
  • Frequent contact with all levels of employees and management
