As an Endpoint Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Implementing cutting-edge technologies, processes, and practices to defend networks, devices, and data from malicious attacks.
- Providing engineering and sustainment support for the Tanium platform, ensuring its optimal functionality.
- Designing system configurations, overseeing installations, and enforcing system standards to establish secure computing environments.
- Collaborating with software vendors and customers to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide security solutions to support mission objectives.
- Overseeing the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of secure architectures.
- Managing security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration, including policy management and database administration.
- Leading incident reporting, documentation, and investigation efforts, and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Required Certifications:
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Must obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience maintaining Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering requirements, with proficiency in tools such as Tanium, HBSS, Carbon Black Response/Protection, and Microsoft ATA.
- 5+ years of technical experience in Cybersecurity.
- In-depth experience with the Tanium platform.
- Proven experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework and other key network architecture standards.
- Ability to provide status reports and products to senior management and customers.
- Proficiency in planning, designing, and evaluating security systems and architectures.
- Experience with Unix, RHELS OS, Windows Enterprise Active Directory architecture, and VMWare virtualization.
