Lab Technician

Title: Lab Technician
Location:  Newark, NJ
Duration:  Direct Hire
Hours:  Full Time, M-F
Target Start Date:  ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Polymer Characterization
• Particle size testing
• Development and evaluation of PTFE micropowders suitable for various engineering thermoplastics.
• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Products
• Attention to detail and organized approach to work
• Ability to work independently as well as demonstrated teamwork skills
• Fully participate in lab safety and housekeeping duties

Requirements:

• AS/BS degree Materials/Polymer Science, or related discipline 
• 3-5 years of experience
• Polymer Characterization
• Particle Size
• Strong use of lab equipment
• Plastics Knowledge a plus 
• Basic computer skills to communicate and prepare simple test reports
