Job Title: Machine Operator - Mixer
Schedule/Shift: 1st shift (5 AM to 1:30 PM)
Location: San Antonio
Type: Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate mixing equipment to initiate the manufacturing process
- Ensure precise and consistent execution of batch-making
- Maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Document product preparation accurately
- Monitor ingredient usage, both manual and automated
- Ensure dough quality meets criteria for portioning, proofing, baking, and packaging
- Participate in R&D trialing and Baker training
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of product quality
- Adhere to proper sanitation practices
- Continuously observe and evaluate operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Effective communication within teams and across departments
- Food manufacturing or baking experience preferred
- Compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Machinery operation and multitasking ability
- Adaptability to changing priorities
