As an electro mechanical technician, the Maintenance Tech insures optimal manufacturing equipment operations and preventive maintenance. This role applies knowledge of electrical theory and principles, hydraulics, welding, AC/DC overhead crane repair and safety standards.What you'll get:

Payrate: $28 + (Based on experience)
Shift: Mon - Fri. 6AM-2PM (Night Shift Available)

What you'll need:
- HS diploma or GED
- 1-year manufacturing maintenance experience or trade school degree
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Bend, stand, for extended periods and withstand exposure to heat and cold.
- Able to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters
- PLC experience preferred
- Ability to read schematics, and understand circuits is mandatory
- Familiar with AC/DC power and drives
- Knowledgeable with Lockout/ Tag Out
- 1 year of high voltage experience, up to 138KV (preferred)
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Willing to be part of a winning team and able to work all shifts, flexible hours and mandatory overtime.
What you'll do:
- Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair or service electronic devices and systems.
- Receives wiring diagrams, specifications, and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation and electrical inspection work to be performed.
- Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles.
- Perform PM as required.
- Fabricates parts if not commercially available.
- Repairs overhead cranes and control boxes for remote cranes.
- Services electronic equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.
- Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action is taken.
- Adheres to housekeeping and safety standards, including the required use of personal protective equipment.
- Welds/burns as required.
