Our client is hiring a Project Contract Manager in Rochester, NY. This Direct-Hire role offers, Salary, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k & PTO.

Responsibilities:
•Prepare Contract-Summary and ensure it is widely communicated to the Project Team and is regularly updated.
•Ensure elaboration of the Contract Document Requirements List (CDRL) by the Project team members is launched in time, and ensure it is accurately communicated and updated. Monitor Works towards contract obligation; check all schedule and milestone compliance.
•Establish and implement project specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondences, notifications, insurances, variation requests I orders and claim preparation files.
•On a day-to-day basis, develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis of project, in order to both protect and present CLIENT'S interests towards customer , partners and, in liaison with sourcing, suppliers/subcontractors.
•Ensure the logging and transmission of legal notices to customers/partners. Log and notice facts to customer, prepare and manage all elements and materials for negotiation of variations, claims and counterclaims.
•Anticipate events and risks, propose various counter-strategies and commercial solutions to keep the situation under control.
•Management of customer/partners Variation Requests (VR) I Orders (VO): follow up the VR I VO list, prepare commercial offer and prepare associated contractual letters for the Customer Director I Project Manager approval.
•Manage correspondence by analyzing for the Project Manager all incoming correspondence, and preparing and reviewing all outgoing correspondence .
•Inform RCMD and Legal about any amendment, variation, claim , and/or breach that could have significant impact on project in terms of cost and time.
•In liaison with Sourcing organization ensure that terms and conditions, and associated risks, are timely and wisely transferred to subcontractors and suppliers. On certain projects (ex: Turnkey) the Project Contract Manager may manage subcontracts and other similar agreements.
•Manage insurance matters in liaison with central insurance organization.
•Provide at any time, on Management demand, a reliable and understandable contractual and commercial analysis of the project.

Educational Requirements:
•Bachelor Degree in related discipline; Master Degree preferred
•Professional Certification (e.g., CACM, CCFM, CPCM) 

Experience:
•Minimum 5-7 years contract management experience
•Strong ability to work in a team environment and build both internal and external relationships
•Strong negotiation skills
•Strong contractual documentation and writing skills
