Summary:

This hybrid (office 2 days/ home 3 days) position is primarily responsible for recruitment but will also provide support for the administration of employee benefits, employee leaves, performance management, compliance, and various other HR tasks, as needed.  The successful candidate will look forward to playing a key role in helping us shape a successful today and tomorrow through embracing challenges, turning practical work experiences into learning and growth opportunities, and commitment.



Recruiting Job Duties:
  • Full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Identify qualified active/passive candidates for a variety of open positions using job boards, social media, and networking events, ensuring candidate pools are diverse.
  • Partner with department managers to gain an accurate understanding of position requirements.       
  • Provide training and guidance to hiring managers about interview techniques and regulatory issues.
  • Assess candidates’ skillsets through virtual preliminary interviews and formal face-to-face interviews.
  • Initiate and track background checks.


Generalist Duties:
  • Maintain employee records ensuring confidentiality of all employee and company information.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with employee leaves across multiple states.
  • Support the preparation and tracking of performance reviews.
  • Assist with benefits renewal processes and annual open enrollment.
  • Prepare and distribute letters, communications, and announcements.
  • Explore options to help the organization function more successfully by automating manual processes and minimizing tactical efforts, allowing the HR team more time to function as strategic business partners.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business, preferred
  • 1+ years as an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator
  • 2+ years of full life-cycle recruitment
  • Intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
  • Experience using video and chat technology (MS Teams & Zoom)
  • Previous manufacturing recruiting experience preferably working in a start-up or small to mid-size growing company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to communicate, work with, and build trusted relationships with employees at all levels, required.
