Summary:
The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance of wind farms. The ideal candidate should be able to work a flexible schedule and possess the skill to identify and solve problems independently and effectively. They are expected to deliver outstanding service to our clients, manage complex systems in demanding settings, and contribute to the creation of new field procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- You possess experience in servicing and maintaining Siemens or Gamesa wind turbines.
- Completion of Siemens Gamesa Technical Training (SGTT) is a requirement.
- Possession of valid GWO training is highly desirable.
- Your proficiency in English is at a communicative level.
- Driving is a critical requirement for this role, and candidates must hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history at the time of applying.
- A valid license and satisfactory driving record must be maintained, subject to occasional DMV checks.
- Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces, both physically and mentally.
- Willingness to adhere to a flexible travel schedule.
- Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Adherence to body weight limits of 265 pounds or less, as mandated by safety standards.
- Must successfully complete a physical examination conducted by a healthcare professional, confirming the ability to perform job duties safely and meet the job's physical requirements.
- Must clear a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa status now or in the future.
- Applicants will not need employer-sponsored work authorization for future employment in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance wind turbines
- Troubleshoot errors on wind turbine.
- Escalate technical issues to supporting engineering functions.
- Be self-motivated, able to think quickly and address issues as they arise.
