Sr. Pricing Manager

 

Our retail client in the Metrowest area has an immediate opening for a Sr. Pricing Manager. In this role, you will play an integral role in maintaining, protecting and enhancing margins by influencing how business develops, implements and measures suggested and applied enhancements to the customer’s contractual assortments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability and competitive success in the face of business transformation
  • Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the pricing strategy
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts and project managers
  • Have an ownership mindset and strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon
  • Work with Sales, IT, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
  • Manage off-shore partnership

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science or Engineering; MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in people management leading mid- to large-sized multifunctional remote teams; B2B distribution background
  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis utilizing BI applications (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx Designer)
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • PMP, Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Experience with interpreting Customer Legal Agreements/Terms
  • Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
  • Conceptual thinking skills complemented by a strong quantitative orientation
  • Demonstrated experience with Business intelligence applications
  • Ability to lead, build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team
  • Foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
