Job Title: HR Coordinator Hours Per Week: 35 hours/week Location: Jersey City, NJ Contract Length: 3 months (possible to extend)
OVERVIEW The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides tactical support to the Executive Director, Human Resources and the extended HR team. Incumbent assists with a variety of ongoing day-to-day processes as well as standalone projects. Duties may touch upon any of the standard HR functions and responsibilities (e.g., staffing, benefits, employee relations, training, legal, compliance, etc.). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HRIS Administration, responsible for capturing all relevant employee data, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity across multiple HRIS Platforms.
Manages HR Team email inbox and provides timely assistance to team members regarding benefits, HR questions and issues.
Maintains and updates the HR SharePoint Intranet site, to ensure posted information is accurate and up-to date.
Process all leave of absences and manage return to work dates.
Manages termination process within multiple HR systems.
Provides back up support to the full-time HR Coordinator as needed to support staffing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
Works on ad hoc HR projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an HR function, preferably within a pharmaceutical or other corporate environment.
Experience working with a technical hiring program in a highly competitive industry is preferred.
Solid understanding of common HR programs and functions.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and bring tasks and projects to timely conclusion while maintaining high quality.
