Sales Administrative Assistant


Our retail client in Pleasanton is looking for Sales Administrative Assistant to join their team for a temp-to-perm role. In this role, you will be responsible for providing regional level administration support for several sales teams.



  • Provide administrative support including answering phones, maintaining filing system and databases, data entry, visitor support and PC equipment management
  • Support sales team with writing and maintaining business reviews and sales presentations as well as creating/preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Generate, run and format reports/spreadsheets in Excel; compile data as well as various tracking tools
  • Write and edit executive-level correspondence
  • Conduct research and manage special projects
  • Assist with travel arrangements including necessary bookkeeping including expense/travel reporting
  • Coordinate and set up conference calls and WebEx
  • Assist with meeting management: meeting planning, set up & logistic, taking & distributing meeting minutes
  • Assist with preparation for special events, meetings and conferences; provide field marketing event support


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in an office environment; experience supporting a sales or customer service organization (ideally one that is in multiple locations)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis in spelling and grammar
  • Proven multi-tasking capability and solid organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple high-level projects simultaneously, while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels in the organization
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
