Entry Level Human Resource and Payroll Assistant 

Location: Freehold, NJ 
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Direct-Hire Opportunity 
Pay-rate: $18.00 / hour


Entry Level Human Resource and Payroll Assistant Job Duties:

  • Assist the HR Department with administrative tasks including answering phones, maintaining employee files, etc. 
  • Update employee files including W-4 information, addresses, contact information, etc. 
  • Process weekly payroll, including time and attendance. 
  • Assist in processing of new hire onboarding paperwork (I-9, W-4, etc.)

Entry Level Human Resource and Payroll Assistant Job Requirements:
  • Must be bilingual Spanish/English.
  • Excellent professional communication skills to interact with employees' concerns.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Excel and data entry (knowledge with creating formulas would be a big plus, but not required).  
  • Paychex experience is a huge plus
