As a Lead Systems Engineer with Mainframe expertise, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Lead Mainframe Z/OS Systems Engineer joining our team as a lead to deliver all Operating System and Hardware Management requirements for our client’s mainframe migration, Operation & maintenance.
How a Lead Mainframe z/OS Systems Engineer will Make an Impact:
Primary lead to delivery all Operating System and Hardware Management requirements for our mainframe move.
Primary engineer for z/OS Operating System and RACF security.
Manage all hardware and system components required to support SYSPLEX, Hardware Management Console (HMC), Central Processor(s) (CPU) hardware, Logical Partitions (LPARs), Global Resource Serialization (GRS), and Workload Manager (WLM).
Provide assistance and services to team in software installation, RACF security setup, and system configuration requirements.
Have 10+ years of experience with expertise in the skills/duties listed above.
Required Technical Skills:
IBM z/OS; Resource Access Control Facility (RACF); Technical Management
Required Skills and Abilities:
Complex Systems, Hardware Management, Mainframe Computers, Systems Design and Systems Management
Preferred Skills:
Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead
