Motor Vehicle Operator to support the intelligence community at McLean, VA. As a Motor Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for operating various motor vehicles, including buses and other passenger vehicles, to transport personnel and equipment within the intelligence community.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate motor vehicles, including buses and passenger vehicles, to transport personnel and equipment within the intelligence community.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating vehicles.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Load and unload equipment and supplies as required.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation of personnel and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics.
- Adhere to security protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Clearance: TS/SCI w FS Poly
- Valid Class B driver's license with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
- Experience as a motor vehicle operator, preferably in a similar role within the intelligence community or a related field.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate various motor vehicles, including buses and passenger vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts
