Screw Machine Operator
Direct Hire Opportunity!
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm M-F
Salary range: $52,000-$62,400 (based on experience)
Location: East Brunswick, NJ
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produces machined parts by setting up and operating
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, and machining parameters
- Maintains specifications, time and production records, quality and safety standards, equipment and supplies
- Able to interpret production drawings, procedures, and work instructions
- Assume responsibility for producing quality parts
- Submit first piece samples and documentation to Quality Control
- Work with Plant Manager and Leads to resolve any tooling or setup problems that may occur
- Education: HS diploma or GED
- Prior experience and knowledge of lathe operation and milling machines beneficial
- Candidate must maintain good safety practices
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
- Screw Machine: 3 years (Required)
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
