Responsibilities:
- Responsible for manufacturing of beadlets, powder blends and liquid suspensions.
- Manufacturing as per batch records.
- Expertise in beadlet operations, milling and blending.
- Capable of operation all equipment in production.
- Ability to work with other operators under his section.
- Ensuring GMP and FSSC 22000 standards compliance for all batch operations.
- High School Diploma and/or Trade School Diploma. AA or BS Degree Preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in an FDA / cGMP manufacturing facility
- Computer knowledge, good organizational skills, good understanding of cGMP and FDA Regulations
- Knowledge in operating PK and Ribbon blenders designed for use in continuous mixing and blending of powders or incorporation of liquid additives into powders.
- Knowledge in operating Fitz, Alpine and Jet Mills designed to grind any type of crystalline or friable materials to produce product in designated size range.
- Knowledge in operating Sweco, Allgaier and Kason Sifters designed to separate and screen oversize and fine particles from bulk material.
- Knowledge in operating Tray Oven and Beadlet Dryer.
- Knowledge in operating Lee Kettle and all other mixing vessels for emulsifying, suspending and homogenizing liquid products.
